  • Tickets

Where can I buy tickets to KSO performances?
We have ticket links to all of our performances on our Concert Calendar page. Alternatively, you can view our concert lineup and also buy your tickets on Ticketmaster’s website.

How do tickets work and how to I access them?
Tickets to KSO concerts can be accessed through your KSO Ticketmaster account. You can create a new account or log into your existing Ticketmaster account to view your tickets at https://am.ticketmaster.com/knoxvillesymphony/sign-in. You can also find the sign in link by clicking on “customer login” link by hovering over the person icon in the top right corner of our website.

Click here to learn more about logging into Ticketmaster or creating an account.

To beat slow internet speeds on concert night, we encourage you to save your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay to make accessing them easy at the door.

Please note: You can only view your tickets through am.ticketmaster.com/knoxvillesymphony/. You cannot view them through the standard ticketmaster.com webpage or through the Ticketmaster app.

iPhone users, please note: If you are having trouble finding the “Add to Apple Wallet” on your ticket page, we encourage you to try to flip your phone sideways. Some of our patrons have found success with the button popping up that way.

When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets will show up in your KSO Ticketmaster account as soon as you purchase them and can be saved to Apple Wallet or Google Pay for easy access on the performance night. We encourage you to save the following link somewhere easily accessible to access your tickets: https://am.ticketmaster.com/knoxvillesymphony/sign-in.

Can I print or take a screenshot of my tickets?
No, you cannot. Ticketmaster barcodes include special technology protecting it from screenshots or print outs.

I bought tickets for someone else or for a group of people. How can I send them their tickets?
Ticket transfers are made easy through Ticketmaster. Please consult this video to see how to transfer tickets. However, transferring tickets is not necessary if everyone in your group is arriving at the same time – just walk in with everyone and our ushers will scan all of your tickets at once!

The KSO strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. All venues where the KSO performs (Tennessee Theatre, Bijou Theatre, Civic Auditorium, Knoxville Museum of Art, and The Elks Lodge) are ADA compliant with lobby elevators (excluding the Civic Auditorium where all handicap accessible seating is on the main floor), ushers are available for assistance, assistive listening devices are available free of charge, accessible restrooms are present on all levels, and guide dogs are accommodated. Wheelchair-accessible seats are available for purchase online and over the phone at the KSO box office. The digital program book is accessible to all patrons and can be zoomed in to a large text format and is screen reader compatible.

No person on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, age, religion, or sex shall be excluded from participation in or otherwise be subject to discrimination of services, programs, and employment provided by the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra.

If you have questions about a specific venue or other accessibility questions, please call the KSO box office at 865-291-3310.

  • Concert Etiquette

    What should I wear?
There is no dress code. Most concertgoers wear business, business casual, or cocktail attire, but we encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

    Should I bring the kids?
Children are welcome at all performances. However, our regular subscription concerts may be too long for young children and are not recommended for those under the age of 5. The Holiday Concerts and Library Story Time program are designed to entertain children and families.

Tickets are required for children ages 2 and up. The KSO offers free concert entry for K-12 students to any classical concert with a purchase of at least one adult ticket. Learn more about the Penny4Arts program or the Knox County Library Read City Explorer Pass.

    Can I take pictures?
Photography, video, and audio recording are prohibited in the concert hall or in any other space where a performance or rehearsal is taking place. Photographers must be approved by the KSO’s Director of Communications and will be positioned in pre-approved locations within the venue.
